Checkout Flow

These are checkout flow in Richasdy :

1. Shopping Cart Pages

  • Add to Cart: Customers browse the store and add products to their cart.
  • View Cart: Customers can view their cart at any time to review the items, quantities, and prices.
  • Cart Summary: Display a summary of the cart, including the total price, any applicable taxes, shipping costs, and discount codes.
  • Update Cart: Customers can update quantities or remove items from the cart.
  • Proceed to Checkout: Button to proceed to the checkout page.

2. Checkout Page

  • Billing Details:
    • Collect customer information such as name, email, billing address, and phone number.
    • Option to create an account or log in for returning customers.
  • Shipping Details:
    • Option to ship to a different address than the billing address.
    • Collect shipping address details.
  • Order Summary:
    • Display a summary of the order, including products, quantities, prices, shipping, and taxes.
    • Option to apply discount codes.
  • Shipping Methods:
    • Present available shipping options (e.g., standard, express).
    • Show associated costs for each shipping method.
  • Payment Method:
    • Provide multiple payment options such as credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash on delivery.
    • Collect payment information securely.
  • Order Notes:
    • An optional field for customers to leave special instructions or notes about the order.

3. Review and Place Order

  • Review Order:
    • Allow customers to review all details before placing the order, including the shipping method, payment method, and order summary.
  • Agree to Terms:
    • Require customers to agree to the terms and conditions before placing the order.
  • Place Order:
    • “Place Order” button to finalize the purchase.
    • a confirmation message is displayed once the order is placed successfully.

4. Order Confirmation

  • Confirmation Page:
    • Display an order confirmation page with the order number, summary, and estimated delivery date.
  • Email Confirmation:
    • Automatically send an email confirmation to the customer with the order details.
  • Order Tracking:
    • Provide order tracking information if applicable.

5. Post-Purchase Flow

  • Thank You Page:
    • Thank for the purchase and provide links to their account, order tracking, and customer support.
  • Follow-Up Emails:
    • Send follow-up emails with shipping updates, delivery confirmation, and requests for reviews or feedback.
